Procedure
Install a new locknut using SST 49 1243 465A and stake it after tightening; lock the mainshaft by engaging first and reverse as directed in the manual. 1994 factory evidence; applicability to 1995–1997 is inferred within the owner-approved NA 1.8 year group.
