Procedure

Connect factory pressure-gauge SSTs at the pump pressure pipe and bleed air. With gauge valve fully open, warm fluid to 50—60°C {122—140°F}. Fully close the valve and measure pump pressure at 1,000—1,500 rpm. Do not leave the valve closed for more than 5 seconds; excessive fluid heat damages the pump. Follow the complete factory procedure to disconnect the gauge, restore the pipe and bleed air.
